Danville Community College is seeking students from Danville Community College, area private schools, Pittsylvania County Schools, Danville Public Schools, Halifax County Public Schools, and Caswell County Public Schools, and the community, to participate in its annual ‘Idea Fair’ competition being held on March 20, 2024 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. (set-up from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.) in the Temple Building on the DCC Campus.
The ‘Idea Fair’, meant to ignite the innovation and creativity in students, seeks to address disparities, such as the lack of intentional entrepreneurial programming for women and people of color, an underdeveloped pipeline for youth entrepreneurship, and a lack of support for entrepreneurs facing isolation.
An award ceremony will be held on April 18, 2024 at 6pm in Temple 110 (Oliver Hall) on the DCC campus to recognize the winners of the Idea Fair Competition.
