Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

The primary focus of the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is to provide basic and limited advanced emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. These individuals have basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care and transportation. Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians function as part of a comprehensive EMS response, under medical oversight and will perform interventions with basic and advanced equipment found in the ambulance. Successful completion of EMT Training is a prerequisite of this course

    Advanced EMT Training is eligible for the following financial aid options for qualified students:

    *Nearly all students qualify for some form of financial aid, and many students attend this training with no out-of-pocket cost.

    Advanced EMT Training Length: 180 Hours

    Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - Weekly
