To apply for a Federal Work-Study job, students must meet basic eligibility criteria as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and complete the following steps:
- Complete the FAFSA and submit any verification documents requested by the Financial Aid Office.
- Submit a work-study application to the Financial Aid Office.
- If a position is available, students will be contacted by the Financial Aid Office and an interview will be scheduled. Please bring a driver’s license and signed social security card to the Financial Aid Office.
Under federal regulations, to receive a Federal Work-Study Job, a student must:
- Be enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester in an eligible program;
- Be eligible for Title IV aid;
- Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress;
- Demonstrate financial need (based on information from FAFSA).
