Danville Community College Nursing Graduates Achieve Outstanding NCLEX Pass Rates for 2024

DANVILLE, VA – Danville Community College (DCC) proudly announces the exceptional performance of its nursing graduates on their licensure exams. The college’s Registered Nursing (RN) graduates achieved a 90% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), while its Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) graduates attained a perfect 100% pass rate on the NCLEX-PN.

 

Dr. Jim Emerson, Nursing Program Director at DCC, applauded the dedication and perseverance of the students and faculty.

 

“Our students have demonstrated remarkable commitment to their education and future careers in healthcare,” said Dr. Emerson. “A 90% pass rate for our RN graduates and a 100% pass rate for our LPN graduates highlight the strength of our nursing programs, the dedication of our faculty, and the quality of our curriculum. These results affirm DCC’s role in preparing highly skilled and competent nurses for the workforce.”

 

Dr. Gabriel Olmstead, Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs & Student Services, recognized the significance of these results for students and the college’s mission.
