Professional Readiness

Professional Readiness is the ability to work well with others and display situationally and culturally appropriate demeanor and behavior. Degree graduates will demonstrate skills important for successful transition into the workplace and pursuit of further education.

It is a challenge to have students interact as a team online. Faculty found it difficult so we had them report and do analysis on an issue that was happening in the news at that time. Since COVID-19, we have been researching more creative ways to deliver these types of challenges and get students to work as a team like they would in the classroom. The plan is to continue to assist students in developing teamwork, whether in an online format or face-to-face.
