DCC offers a variety of math courses to meet your program requirements and transfer needs. We also offer developmental and support courses to help you be successful.
Direct Enrollment and Self-Placement
Direct Enrollment allows students who graduated from a U.S. high school in the past five (5) years to enroll directly in the recommended math course based on their high school GPA, SAT/ACT scores, or GED scores.
Informed Self-Placement guides students who graduated from a U.S. high school or received a GED more than five (5) years ago by recommending English and mathematics courses based upon the student’s experiences and comfort with academic writing and math, as well as their support needs.

MTT 2 will be offered for the last time during the Summer 2022 term. Starting Fall 2022, developmental math with have the prefix MDE. The new courses are MDE 10, 54, 55, 60 and 61.

- MDE 10 - Introduction to Algebra (basic developmental course)
- MDE 54 - Learning Support for Quantitative Reasoning (support course offered alongside MTH 154)
- MDE 55 - Learning Support for Statistical Reasoning (support course offered alongside MTH 155)
- MDE 60 - Intermediate Algebra (developmental course taken prior to MTH 161)
- MDE 61 - Learning Support for Pre-Calculus (support course offered alongside MTH 161)
