Dust off your boots and get ready to raise your glass for a good cause! The Danville Community College Educational Foundation will host its 5th Annual Suds, Swine, Sippin’ & Song fundraiser on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM at Motley’s Mill, located at 572 Motley’s Mill Road in Chatham.
This unique summer event promises an evening full of Southern charm and entertainment. Guests will enjoy:
- Mouthwatering BBQ from Chief’s BBQ
- Sides and Desserts by Kickback Jack’s
- Delicious bourbon cocktails and sippin’ selections
- Live music by The Jeff Little Trio
- Beautiful waterfall backdrop of Motley’s Mill
All proceeds benefit the DCC Educational Foundation, supporting scholarships, emergency funds, and student success initiatives at Danville Community College.
“This event has grown into a signature summer celebration that brings our community together in support of education,” said Dr. Shannon Hair, Executive Director of the DCC Educational Foundation and Vice President of Institutional Advancement & Development at DCC. “Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured helps open doors for students who are working hard to transform their lives through learning.”
In addition to general admission to the event, attendees may also opt to purchase admission to the Private Bourbon Tasting. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy four rare bourbons while Local Bourbon Expert, Dave Slayton, guides them through the unique flavor profiles, history, and distillation process of each pour in an intimate and educational tasting experience.
Tickets are $100 per person or $150 for a pair and include dinner, drink ticket and live entertainment. Must be 21 or older to attend. Tickets to the Private Bourbon Tasting may be added to general admission tickets for an additional $50.
