Concurrent Enrollment
High school juniors and seniors may be admitted to the College and enroll for courses prior to graduating from high school. Prior to admission, the College must receive a completed Concurrent Enrollment Form approved by the student, the student’s parents, and his/her high school principal, and be approved by the Danville Community College Admissions Committee. All students admitted under this section must demonstrate readiness for college, meet the applicable college placement requirements and address all other college admission criteria. Because enrolling freshman and sophomore students is considered exceptional, the college ready status of each prospective freshman and sophomore student will be treated on a case-by-case basis and formal approval by the College President is required. Students requesting to take courses at the freshman and sophomore level will be restricted to enrolling in a maximum of one credit course per session.
