DCC Educational Foundation Gives Free Laptops to Enrolled Students
Danville Community College Educational Foundation (DCCEF), in conjunction with Danville Community College (DCC), the City of Danville, and Pittsylvania County, will be providing free laptops to 500 enrolled Danville Community College Students in an effort to mitigate the technological hardships created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The laptops are available to students through the generous monetary contributions of the City of Danville and Pittsylvania County.
‘Women in Welding’ Program Offered at DCC
Beginning on February 20, Danville Community College will begin offering ‘Women in Welding,’ a unique, 325-hour program that will empower women in our community to break into a high-paying field where they might otherwise be considered a minority.
